Not a big story in a game in Jemappes where 8th ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut (4-3) was defeated by leader Kangoeroes (6-0) 93-76 on Saturday. Swedish forward Zaba Bangala (201-2001) fired 22 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. Leander Dedroog (199-1999) chipped in 21 points and 7 rebounds. Four Kangoeroes players scored in double figures. Slovenian guard Maks Klanjscek (196-1999, college: Oklahoma) produced 18 points and 7 rebounds and Stan Van Den Elzen (195-2000) added 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively for lost side. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Kangoeroes. Mechelen moved-up to second place. Loser Belfius Mons-Hainaut dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Mechelen will meet at home Leuven (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Union Mons will play against Rotterdam (#18) and hope to secure a win.
